It may be cold outside today, but prepare to wear shorts this weekend.

The National Weather Service was predicting high temperatures in the 70s beginning Saturday and lasting until at least Monday.

But for now, North Texans are going to have to brave the cold.

On Thursday, the low temperature dipped to 26 degrees at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, said Alan Moller, a weather service meteorologist. The lowest temperature of the season – 23 degrees – was recorded on Wednesday

I'm tempted to act like one of the fools and wear shorts and a t-shirt tomorrow when we trek over to First Monday in Canton. This will be our first time. Ever been there?
