I've been told that these noisy immigrants that have invaded our neighborhood are Mexican Conures. Es verdad?

This is one of the colony's nests. Usually they prefer the power poles with transformers. Free heat?

Mister J-Guy, I sent this link to a bird-saavy friend of mine, (she fosters rescue parrots and has 4 birds of her own,) who told me that your little friend up there is actually a Monk Parakeet, a bird that is often mistaken for a Conure.

A monk parakeet, also known as a Quaker parrot.

Illegal to own in several states in the country - which is real unfortunate because they are very intelligent and loving parrots.

They are legal in my state.
